Actiontec Electronics has developed a new IP Telephony device (PCI and
USB) that will allow you to use your regular phone (even cordless) to
make free phone calls over the internet. You will still need to
subscribe to an ITSP such as DialPad or DeltaThree in order to call
over the internet. However, the quality of internet phone calls will be
greatly improved because you will just pickup your phone and dial #
instead of using your keyboard + sound card + speakers + microphone etc. |

Ive used Net2phone and Mediaring. Net2phone quality used to be better
than
Mediaring but their prices are higher than they claim (because they sell
through their Singapore office, who set themselves the FX rates...
USD/SGD
is 1.8400 when the real market is around 1.7400).
Mediaring has some better rates but connection isnt always great and
besides they will wipe out your account of remaining funds if unused for

months..
