I have two Tandy CT-102 analog cell phones. They are in fair condition, both work well. One is in better conditon than other. They both have the A B nam and 20 number memory . They are both 3 watt units. They are the same phone that was used as the bag phone(just add battery). They have all the mounting hardware.
I have two JRC PTR-870 analog cell phones for sale. Both were bought at the same time and are less than two years old. Very small phones, both have leather cases and work perfectly. 3 NiCd batteries and 2 chargers included, as well as manual.
Doug Benson wrote: Just curious, Does anyone have any data on the current breakdown of digital vs analog cell phones and projections on the decline of analog and increase of digital over the next few years. Something like this: |-------------------------------------------| | | 1998 | 2000 | 2002 | 2004 | | Digital | 10% | 35% | 75% | 95% | | Analog | 90% | 65% | 25% | 5% | |-------------------------------------------| * This data is made up for example only
Since new analog cell phone service is unavailable in S. WI, these would only be good for 911 emergency type calls. Which means great emergency kits for your vehicle or home.
I that word better. It is so descriptive. Enough sarcasm. Why do you feel analog phones are better thatn their digital counterparts. I believe 99% of the people in this group feel the other way.
